Personal Branding: Graphic Designer with a film camera

While I navigated my way through University, finding “my style” was always a challenge, until I stopped festering on a definition of myself as a creative, the idea finally started to come to light.

IDEATION:

During my ideation phase, there were themes of tactile media consistently running throughout my sketching, word-mapping and moodboard. Seeing this visualization made me realize how large of an impact the film camera plays into my identity, personally and professionally. It’s intentional process translates into my creative process and became what my personal branding is now: a Graphic Designer with a film camera.

DEVELOPMENT:

I wanted my branding to be able to have a strong, bold and blocky framework that would pair well with photography elements. I sourced inspiration from outdoor brands like The North Face and Patagonia to reach a earthy but grounded feel.

My key words were timeless, bold, amiable, and earthy - then further refined to: bold, timeless, and curious.
